One username and password, an easy Clever Badge, or device-less student multi-factor authentication unlocks any app on any device for students, teachers, and staff. Clever offers SSO into any application - even those not rostered with Clever - while personalized portals show only what’s relevant for each user. Districts specify the right resources for each class based on data from the student information system (SIS). Teachers can add more classroom resources, and students quickly immerse themselves in digital learning. Digital Classroom: Includes customizable, shareable teacher pages and analytics to easily view and manage student participation in one central location. Clever Badges: Students (especially younger ones) can simply hold up and encrypted physical password (Clever Badge), to the computer's webcam to help them securely access their resources without typing credentials. Edtech Analytics: Districts can view all of their district's application usage in one place down to the school and grade level, whether or not they are integrated with Clever. This is provided at no cost to school districts. Portal Analytics: Clever admins have access to visualizations, graphs and statistics that show how many users are accessing their applications, how often they log in, and which schools or apps are being used the most. Clever Academy: Our free, self-serve online video training and certification program for educators, district administrators and school tech leads. App discovery via Clever’s App Store: Safely discover, evaluate and purchase your edtech resources all in one place. In addition, districts looking to automate and secure account provisioning for Google, Active Directory, and Entra ID can add-on our automated identity management solution, Clever IDM. They can also create a second layer of security for students and teachers and meet cyber insurance requirements by purchasing Classroom MFA. Please note, Clever IDM and Classroom MFA are not required when using Clever rostering and SSO platform. Clever is committed to keeping student data, and the data of the over 12,000 districts that we work with, safe and secure. We do this by ensuring that districts can securely share student and teacher data between the SIS, LMS and over 1000 learning applications through Clever rostering. Clever Secure Sync rostering allows district IT administrators to have one centralized dashboard to view and configure data sharing rules so that the minimal amount of student data is shared with only the learning applications which should have access.
