SERVICE/PRODUCTS DESCRIPTION |
Axiom Learning is the only group that has invested over 150,000 hours into the research, design, iteration, and implementation of optimized educational services and programs. Additionally, we are the only group that is advised by Harvard, the Gates Foundation, and McKinsey, along with leading experts in special education and school administration. What began as a small company in 2009 has transformed 15 years later into: (1) a cross-national and international initiative with nine centers across the US and one in Asia; (2) more than 77 employees focused on developing innovative educational tools that directly align with each unique student’s personal goals, and (3) the privilege of working in 46 states across the company to improve the educational outcomes for thousands of students. OUR LEAP STUDENT ASSESSMENT AND ECOSYSTEM Axiom Learning’s LEAP Assessment is a revolutionary, easy-to-use, 10-minute digital assessment for K-12 students with age-normed, targeted interventions based on each student’s profile in the assessment report itself, allowing educators to: (1) identify exactly why students are struggling and what to do about it and (2) provide comprehensive student, teacher, and parent-facing reports with easy-to-implement recommendations. Best of all, LEAP does it all within a fraction of the time and cost necessary to complete standard assessments and follow up planning tasks. LEAP decreases the burden on special education professionals, school psychologists, and teachers by providing immediate and actionable insights into struggling students, allowing for a more comprehensive and customized intervention. LEAP also provides individualized activity recommendations, including detailed lesson plans and student workbooks which are normed by age from K-12 for frictionless implementation in the classroom. Students and parents are involved in the assessment and the reports process, increasing student and family buy-in, engagement, and sense of ownership. HIGH-DOSAGE TUTORING AT ANY SCALE Axiom Learning’s tutoring programs are flexible and versatile in implementation style, allowing us to meet the scheduling needs across all students, grade levels, and schools within a district. Our programs include: (1) tutoring and homework support services for learners of all ages; (2) in-person or “live” virtual tutoring; (3) 1:1 or group sessions with tutors with no maximum session time limits; (4) tutoring offered in English and Spanish; (5) tutors trained to identify learning gaps, strengths, and challenges, and address individual student’s needs; (6) tutors trained to work with a wide variety of learning profiles & styles including ADHD, ASD, Dyslexia, Dyscalculia, and more. PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT SERVICES Our proven, comprehensive, and innovative professional development solution is: (1) focused on training and coaching that engages the district in exploring and utilizing various instructional strategies, including those related to Social and Emotional Learning; (2) relevant to teacher and administrator needs; (3) focused on assisting educators with planning and improvement; (4) teacher-driven and highly interactive; (5) inclusive of practical strategies that can be replicated in the classroom; and (6) sustainable over time. At Axiom Learning, we focus on facilitating professional development rather than instructing. We foster experiences in lieu of lectures, we engage and learn from educators, and we encourage a dialogue in which educators share their own experiences related to the subject matter. Our offering is goal-driven, includes agendas and objectives, and helps educators leverage lessons into their own teaching practices. |
