Sachi Tech Inc dba Pikmykid is a privately held corporation founded in 2014 for the sole purpose of making our schools safer. The Pikmykid Platform was developed to ensure the safety of the students from the time they arrive at school until they are picked up by their parents or depart school by other means. A free parent app is included to make dismissal, delegations, messaging, and daily changes easy and efficient to eliminate most front office concerns. The PMK Platform includes automated drop off capabilities and parent car line pick up activities. Changes can be made throughout the day with the app simplifying the end of day routine most schools must deal with making car lines more efficient and faster. Bus dismissal, walkers, after school programs, and special events are all handled through the PMK Dismissal Platform. A superimposed GeoFence is placed around the school to automate the features described here. Included in the PMK Platform is our Emergency Alert System which instantly delivers a notification to First Responders for critical events. Less critical incidents can likewise be included in the system for localized immediate delivery of information when a 911 response is not needed. Each incident has its own customized set of recipients based on the needed response. A communication channel is opened for the delivery of continuous necessary information and protocols are returned to each device with appropriate instructions for the response. A Digital Hall Pass is part of the platform giving schools the ability to easily manage students when they are away from the classroom. Limits can be configured to manage the number of students out of class at any one time and to ensure students are proceeding to their assigned destinations. Various reports are easily generated providing information to the school about students in the hall and their whereabouts at a specific time. The issuance of a hall pass can be self-generated should the school authorize and configure this mode. Reunification is an integral part of the PMK Platform. Schools can develop up to four separate plans to ensure student safety as various events may occur at different locations. These plans are easily selected when needed and the necessary information is delivered quickly to the staff. Parents can be included as needed with a simple check of a box. Once the plan is selected, the above mentioned GeoFence is automatically shifted to the reunification location. Student rosters are included and teachers/staff can check in each student. Missing students are quickly identified and a communication channel is open on all devices to help easily locate the missing students. Parents are checked into a parent holding area and then matched up and dismissed, providing a time and date stamp. Emergency contact information with a picture is part of the parent app to ensure the proper person is picking up every child. Since the routine is familiar to parents due to the daily usage for dismissal, reunification is quick, secure, and safe.
